UN Responds to Turkiye Syria Earthquake with a grant of 25million USD

The United Nations has responded to the multiple earthquakes in southern Türkiye and northern Syria with a grant of 25 million US dollars from the UN Central Emergency Response Fund to commence the humanitarian response efforts. UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric told reporters in New York that the funds “will help provide urgent life-saving assistance in the region".
