The Value of Migrant Financial Flow.

The World Bank forecast an increase of about 2.6 per cent in the remittance flows from International migrants in 2021 and 2.2percent in 2022. The Bank's Lead Economist for Migration and Remittances, Dilip Ratha, acknowledged that the increment has to do with the fiscal support policies put in place by governments in most host countries to bolster employment among migrant workers. He adds that remittances would continue to play a significant role with new financial products such as health insurance and diaspora bonds.
