COVID-19 has impacted our lives in many ways, but the ACB communities bear the greater brunt of the pandemic. Be a part of this relevant survey by Co-CREATH Lab, University of Ottawa and Canadians of African Descent Health Organization (CADHO) to improve COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and uptake in the ACB community. Do you self-identify as African, Caribbean or Black? Are at least 18 years old, understand English OR French, and reside in Canada? Then, kindly partake in this AVA community members’ survey to understand the impact of COVID-19 on ACB people’s access to certain health services in Canada. Have you been hesitant to take the COVID-19 vaccine? In addressing the approach of the African Caribbean and Black folks to vaccines, we NEED to listen and engage in an open conversation highlighting ways vaccination can save black lives and address our reasons for hesitancy.
