Immigration to Canada must be done appropriately- PM Trudeau
The Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has again stressed the importance of embarking on an orderly migration by immigrants interested in relocating to Canada.
Prime Minister Trudeau made the statement following the death of eight migrants who died while attempting to cross the St. Lawrence River into the United States of America.
The Awesane Mohawk Police had identified two migrants whose bodies were found in the River.
In an update from the police, one of the adults was identified as 28-year-old Florin Iordache, who possessed a Canadian passport for a two-year-old child, which was recovered previously. In addition, 28-year-old Cristina (Monalisa) Zenaida Iordache was one of the female adults found in the river.
