High Commissioner Adeyinka Asekun visits Newfoundland Minister of Environment & Climate Change
The High Commissioner of Nigeria to Canada, H.E. Adeyinka Asekun and his wife, Olawunmi, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Environment and Climate change in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, Honourable Bernard Davis.
High Commissioner Asekun is on a visit to St John's, the capital, to supervise the passport intervention exercise for Nigerians residing in Newfoundland.
The event allowed him to meet with the Minister, also a former minister of immigration. The pally focused on immigration and visa issues for international students from Nigeria and other areas of collaboration, especially in the education sector. The High Commissioner also had on his entourage the President of the Nigerian Canadian Association, Newfoundland and Labrador, Mr Adegbenga Ojo.
