In continuation of her visit and tour of Ontario government establishments, the Minister of State FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu and the representative of the Nigeria High Commissioner, Mr Obioma Nzewuji, Minister, Trade and Investment at the Nigeria High Commission, and a delegation from the Canada Nigeria Expo 2022, met with the Mayor of Brampton, Patrick Brown and his team at the Brampton Innovation District, precisely at the Brampton BHIVE.
The meeting explored avenues for collaboration in the tech industry and other non-oil export sectors.
Mayor Patrick Brown, who visited some of the technology scenes in Lagos, spoke about the ingenuity of Nigerian youths and the critical mass of Nigerians residing in Brampton, which would strengthen the relationship between both countries.
Attracting Foreign Direct Investment to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, was the crux of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory talk.
