AVA Project flag-off event in Ottawa

The AVA project of the Collaborative Critical Research for Equity and Transformation in Health (CO-CREATH) Lab at the University of Ottawa and the Canadians of African Descent Health Organization (CADHO) had a productive and informative session at the health and wellness event held at ACB Wellness Resource Centre in Ottawa.

Government officials attended the event to engage Ottawa ACB community members and providers in critical racial and health dialogue about vaccine knowledge and improving vaccine confidence. The special guests were Rowlson King, Councillor -Ward 13 Rideau-Rockcliffe and Mathieu Fleury, Councillor Ward 12 of Rideau-Vanier.
