The Mayor of Philadelphia, Jim Kenney at a press conference advised President Donald Trump to acknowledge defeat and congratulate Joe Biden as the winner of the US presidential election.
Reports show that the count might take several days to complete in Philadelphia; however, Biden has so far won 81% of the votes. Around 40,000 are yet to be counted.
Even as Trump continues to tweet allegations of voter fraud in the US election, results show Biden on the brink of beating Trump with growing lead in Nevada and Pennsylvania as results roll in.
